post_button_tag isn't sending authenticity token in method=post

in book module:
call post_button_tag with:
c.post_button_tag('page:edit_button', :button => 'Edit Page', :method => 'post' ) { |t| data[:edit_url] }
errors on edit page load with:
ActionController::InvalidAuthenticityToken
change post_button_tag to:
c.post_button_tag('page:edit_button', :button => 'Edit Page', :method => 'get' ) { |t| data[:edit_url] }
all is well.
