File Upload warning (Front-End)

Reported by Andrei Zharau | August 16th, 2010 @ 05:44 PM

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Create new content model with Document type field
  2. Create a new publication Entry Create Form for this content model
  3. Add the publication to a page
  4. Save and go to that page.
  5. Submit publication form with any file from your drive

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

File should be uploaded into folder specified in Website configuration settings; however, it won't upload because of missing enctype="multipart/form-data" attribute.

Firebug throws Form contains a file input, but is missing method=POST and enctype=multipart/form-data on the form. The file will not be sent.

Additional information

The issue was fixed in first Webiva versions (there was a typo in the code that checked for document fields in the
publication so the enctype=multipart wasn't getting added in correctly), but seems to appear again.
